Horse Therapy Work

Anthem is a therapy horse in training. He has been working at Ronald McDonald Houses with young patients and with adult patients at a rehab hospital. He has also made school visits and even was a good boy on a movie set.

Nickname: Always Anthem.

Appearance: Anthem has the most unusual markings. His head is white but the inside of his ears are black. It makes him look like a toy.

Special Skills: Angel had a “mini” part in the upcoming film, And Then There Was Light. playing the character “Light”. The film stars legendary actor Burt Reynolds, Amy Smart (The Butterfly Effect, The Single Moms Club), Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), writer, actress and director Castille Landon, actress Avery Arendes, Jack Griffo (The Thundermans), AJ Michalka (The Goldbergs) and Apple the horse.

Favorite Thing: Anthem loves his big soccer ball toy “Wilson” and thinks it is alive when it rolls around. He even travels with it in the horse trailer and must play with it every morning.

Personality: Anthem is fearless. He walks into new situations with trust that everything is safe, everyone is kind and he is going to have a good time.

Best Equine Friend: Therapy horse Snow Angel is his best friend. They are almost the same age so they always play together.

    I usually don’t play favorites, but this little guy has stolen my heart. There is something very special about him. He makes me laugh, playing with Wilson. He has such a gentle soul and loving heart. Love you, Anthem!
