Sweetheart
Sweetheart was a Cadbury Bunny finalist and came in second place in the national Cadbury Bunny competition. She is pretty sweet.
Sweetheart was born on the same night that famous country music duo Sweethearts of the Rodeo put on a concert as a fundraiser for Gentle Carousel in Tennessee. They have hit songs like “Midnight Girl/Sunset Town” and “Chains of Gold”. Sweetheart was born mostly white, but had several spots shaped like hearts.
Sweetheart works with young hospital patients and young readers.
Nickname: Sweetie.
Appearance: Sweetheart is a Medicine Hat horse. Medicine Hat is the name applied to horses exhibiting a unique and rare pattern of color, mostly white in body with color on their ears and top of the head, which resembles a bonnet or hat. Some Native American tribes considered the Medicine Hat to be supernatural protection against harm. Sweetheart has one blue eye and one brown eye.
Special Skills: Sweetheart is one of Gentle Carousel’s Santa Ponies during the Christmas holiday season and also looks pretty cute in bunny ears.
Favorite Thing: Being center of attention.
Personality: Sweetheart is a sweetheart. She loves to follow people around the farm and always wants to be the one to go on a visit. Sometimes she runs along the fence when the horse van is leaving, and it is not her turn.
Best Equine Friend: Sweetheart loves to spend time with therapy horses Dream and Moonshadow.
