Anthem
Anthem had a role in the film Apple of My Eye playing the character “Light”. The film stars legendary actor Burt Reynolds, Amy Smart (The Butterfly Effect, The Single Moms Club), Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), writer, actress and director Castille Landon, actress Avery Arendes, Jack Griffo (The Thundermans), and AJ Michalka (The Goldbergs). He was a very good boy on the movie set and popular with the actors.
Anthem worked with the Orange County Medical Office after the Pulse nightclub tragedy. He visits at Ronald McDonald Houses with young patients and inside children’s and veterans hospitals. He also is part of Gentle Carousel’s Reading With Horses at schools and literacy programs.
Nickname: Always Anthem.
Appearance: Anthem has the most unusual markings. His head is white, but the inside of his ears are black. It makes him look like a toy. His extra-long tail is black and white.
Special Skills: Anthem loves to jump. We don’t let him jump high on purpose for safety, but he manages to go over pool noodles like they are six foot fences.
Favorite Thing: Anthem loves his big soccer ball toy “Wilson” and thinks it is alive when it rolls around. He even travels with it in the horse van and plays with it every morning.
Personality: Anthem is fearless. He walks into new situations with trust that everything is safe, everyone is kind and he is going to have a good time.
Best Equine Friend: Therapy horse Little Prince is Anthem’s best friend. They often play with “Wilson” together.
