Moonshadow was filmed by Facebook for their very first official Facebook Stories. Facebook sent a team to film Moonshadow and Magic working with young hospital patients.
Born on the Spring Equinox under a supermoon, Moonshadow has always seemed a little magical. She rode in a convertible around the Rolex Field at a special event at the Kentucky Horse Park. She has appeared on television and in many different magazines but her first cover photo was on the World Equestrian Center Magazine.
Nickname: Moon.
Appearance: Moonshadow has an unusual color pattern with swirls that look like the night sky. She even has a perfect star on her left shoulder.
Special Skills: Moonshadow takes the best photos with extra-large horses including the Budweiser Clydesdales. She has even ridden in a carriage pulled by a horse.
Favorite Thing: Getting a massage after her bath.
Personality: Moonshadow is gentle and loving with new friends of all ages, from infants at the Ronald McDonald House to residents at assisted living programs.
Best Equine Friend: Sweetheart has always been Moonshadow’s best friend, maybe because they both have such sweet personalities.
